For any given domain, what is the difference between creating/managing an email account via the Workspace, and via cPanel. cPanel also gives me the option to create and manage email accounts (see screenshot). BTW you can use any SMTP service with such plugins, including Mailgun. All the domains that I have registered with GoDaddy are hosted with cPanel. I tried to add this in htaccess file and placed it under the root but it was not working. I have talked to Godaddy support team and it seems that they did not know what was happening and how to help me out. We use Zeptomail in all our servers and everything is going along very smoothly so far.Īnd as for Wordpress integration, I just use a free SMTP plugin from WPchill. modsecurity control is NOT available in cPanel interface of Godaddy shared hosting. I run a business hosting and managing websites in Wordpress and online stores in Woocommerce. I'm really happy so far: no complaints of transactional messages going to junk, and I can always check the message history to see that a customer filled in the wrong email address and that's why they didn't receive any emails LOL. If you do not know your cPanel username or password, you can use the A2 Hosting. Decided to give it a go since it was way cheaper - Mailgun had a fixed $35 a month charge, Zeptomail uses prepaid credits. In the Password text box, type your A2 Hosting account (cPanel) password. Top notch service, worth its price! And you can easily plug them (or any other service) into Wordpress quite easily.īut then I found something else: Zoho launched Zeptomail (previously Transmail). You'll have to find a method that doesn't require sudo. Installing packages is beyond what you have permission to do. Then I moved on to Mailgun and I can't recommend enough. GoDaddy shared hosting doesn't allow root access, or sudo. I actually asked them about this and why don't they monitor and do it themselves, they basically shrugged. Thing is: I can't keep opening up tickets every time one of their IPs gets blacklisted. Even though I was using the paid plan, whenever I complained about non-delivery their response was always the same "We will check it out for your". In the Apps for Content Management section, select WordPress blog. We'll take you to the Installatron Applications Browser page. In the account Dashboard, in the Websites section, below the domain where you want to install WordPress select Install Application. I used Sendgrid before for a long time but then gave up for the same reasons you did ("users saying my messages are going to junk"). Under Web Hosting, next to the Linux Hosting account you want to use, select Manage.
